Too often, people are disguised by special offers and cheap prices. The truth is, most of the time choosing cheaper products is completely useless and a waste of money. Buying cheap can be a great bargain, sure, but only if you are lucky enough to find the product you want at a special price. Otherwise, it is only a distraction from you aim. That’s why you should always choose quality over quantity.
How many times did it happen to you? The problem is not when you compare prices of the same product and, of course, you choose the cheaper one. The problem is when you have a clear idea of what you want and you end up with a product that seems the same, but it’s not. Quality, not quantity, that’s what you should aim for.
Even speaking about money, buying cheaper is a bad idea. You buy something thinking you made a deal when actually it won’t last. Soon it will break or stop working and you’ll have to buy another one.
Choose the best quality you can afford
Ok, I hear you: “Wait! I am not that rich!” The problem is not being rich. Clearly you need to have a decent amount of money to buy quality products. But, really, it is a matter of mindset. Aim to the best and then choose the best you can afford. As simple as that.
Actually it could be an advantage not having unlimited money to spend on everything. How? Use your tight budget to build a stronger personality. Don’t be slave of any addiction. Addiction kills every kind of pleasure. In other words, where there is addiction, there cannot be pleasure.
Let’s make an example. You love smoking cigars, but you cannot afford expensive ones? Smoke less and smoke better! It’s better to smoke one good cigar a week than poor quality cigars every day. This statement could be applied to anything, from food to clothes.
Remember, the only rule is, always quality over quantity.
It is quality rather than quantity that matters
Lucius Annaeus Seneca
